With an interest nationally in New Urbanism and Smart Growth, many local governments have adopted or are exploring ordinances for Traditional Neighborhood Developments. In 1999, the Wisconsin legislature mandated that cities and villages with a population of at least 12,500 enact a traditional neighborhood development ordinance. The following are some of the resources available on the World Wide Web related to traditional neighborhood development ordinances.
