Curriculum
The Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies requires a total of 120 credit hours at the undergraduate level. Year 1 is normally completed in one of the existing majors (Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Planning, Visual Communication Design) in the College of Design. The remaining three years are completed in one of two concentrations: Design Management or Design Studies. Both concentrations have a slightly different set of requirements for the second, third, and fourth years of study (see below).
Students who have successfully completed one year in any one of the undergraduate programs in the College of Design with a GPA of 2.0 are eligible to either concentration.
