Study Abroad: India

Program at the Arizona State University, College of Design offers students an interdisciplinary opportunity to study the design, architecture, history, and contemporary culture of Northern and Western India.

This program takes students to both rural and urban India, where they examine the living traditions of an ancient civilization through its evolving traditional and commercial communities.

During the first two weeks, students partake in various expeditions to the Indian historical and archaeological sites located within and around renowned cities. Students spend the last week in Ahmedabad, where they interact with local design students at design schools and extensively explore the city and nearby villages.
