IT going green: Every user to be part of move to green buildings
Harvey Bryan is a specialist in building technology who has written over sixty papers and articles, many of which focus on the interface between technology and the design of ecologically-responsible environments. He has served on the design faculties of MIT, Harvard, and UCLA, where his research received support from numerous public and private sponsors. He was a member of teams that received three Progressive Architecture Awards, was chairman of the 1986 International Daylighting Conference and was Associate Editor of the international journal Building and Environment. Mr. Bryan is active in several professional and technical societies; he has served on the ASHRAE committee responsible for developing the 90.1-1989 National Energy Standard and is presently serving on the Task Group concerned with Buildings Impact on the Environment. Bryan has a B.Arch. from ASU, an M.Arch., M.S. and a Ph.D., all from the University of California at Berkeley and is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
