The Healthcare Design Initiative strives to engage communities at local, national and international levels by embedding students into these communities to help define and address critical issues facing the healthcare industry. Student-produced publications, study abroad programs, interdisciplinary design and research studios and cross-disciplinary conferences are all platforms utilized by the Healthcare Initiative to educate and connect students to a wide range of healthcare communities and healing environments.
