Exciting News in the PhD Program

• Tamara Christensen has been awarded the 2008-09 Graduate and Professional Student Association Service Award.                                                                                                                    
  
• Dori Griffin was selected to receive the ASU's Graduate College Dissertation Fellowship award for the 2009-2010 academic year.
  
  
• Ernesto Fonseca was selected as one of the Phoenix Business Journal's Forty-Under-40-Class of 2009, which is a program that salutes the up and coming leaders in the Phoenix community. Read more.
  
  
• Khanin Hutanawatr (Noom) and Sohyun Park were selected to receive the Helios Education Foundation Scholarship for the Spring 2009 semester (October 2008).
  
  
• Khanin Hutanawatr (Noom) has been selected as a 2008 PERISHIP Fellow in Hazards, Risk and Disasters. This award is connected to the National Science Foundation. It is an important fellowship in terms of recognition and will permit Noom to complete his dissertation field work, writing the dissertation in the US, purchase materials and travel (June 2008).

• James Erickson was selected to receive the Anthony C. Juratovac Memorial Fellowship for the 2008-2009 academic year. This scholarship is to benefit students in the fields of sustainable building and architecture (April 2008).

• Effie Bouras and Vasudha Lathey were selected to receive the Helios Education Foundation Scholarship for the Spring 2008 semester (October 2007).
