The Gallery of Design
In conjunction with the Sites of Transition exhibition running in the Gallery of Design (March 15 – April 6), this symposium will offer an opportunity for lively discussion about the market-driven transformations of rich and fragile desert ecosystems.
Speakers include the creators of Sites of Transition, Ralph Stern (University of Nevada Las Vegas) and Nicole Huber (University of Washington); prominent art writer Lucy Lippard; Matthew Coolidge, the director of the Center for Land Use Interpretation in Los Angeles; and Mark Klett, photographer and professor of art at Arizona State University.
