This section describes two projects that use radiant panels as the primary environmental control system and shows the results of performance over a year or more of operation.
The Carefree residence uses active radiant panels (both floor and ceiling) in conjunction with thermal mass. Its performance is presented here.
The Atascadaro house, developed by Harold Hay, uses passive strategies to control radiant ceiling panels for year round comfort control.
