CURRICULUM / COURSES

Each degree program in the College of Design has a curriculum checksheet that details a course schedule that will allow you to complete your undergraduate degree in four years. Many of the courses in the professional degree programs must be taken in sequential order and are only offered in the fall or spring semesters. In addition, in order to apply for upper-division admittance to the professional programs, certain lower-division courses must have been successfully completed. If you have any questions about coursework, prerequisites, or choices for electives, please contact an advisor.

The College of Design offers many different ways to advance your study of architecture, design, and planning through graduate degree programs. If your goal is to continue through to a design or planning master’s degree or doctoral degree, the possibilities for drawing on coursework across disciplines and research fields in the university are extensive. Consult a faculty member in your discipline area for assistance in choosing a curriculum that meets the requirements of your program while allowing you to focus on a field of study that interests you.

For a complete listing of courses and course descriptions, see the ASU General Catalog or Graduate Catalog.
