Welcome to the College of Design! We are delighted that you have chosen to study design or planning at Arizona State University. The next few months will be filled with new experiences and opportunities. The faculty and staff of the college and university are at your service to make your freshman year successful and rewarding.

To help you get started, please join us Friday, August 22 for programs designed for incoming freshmen. We have an array of topics to be explored. Your attendance is highly recommended.

We are very proud of the College of Design, our facilities, faculty, alumni, and in particular, our students. We share in your excitement for this new beginning, and we look forward to a happy and productive relationship.

EXPLORING CHANGING YOUR MAJOR? Current College of Design students that would like to explore changing to another major within the College of Design should visit with a member of our academic advising team.

If you are a current ASU student outside of the College of Design and are interested in changing to a major in the College of Design, we require that you have an ASU GPA of 2.5 or greater.

Please visit with a member of our academic advising team for assistance and advice regarding processing any necessary changes required by the College of Design and the university. The College of Design Academic Advising Center is located in the CDS building room 115.
