College life is more than books and classwork! As a student in the College of Design, you are learning to be a professional designer or planner, networking and making connections to the professions through student organizations and mentoring programs, and participating in trips to design firms and community meetings. You are keeping mind and body sharp (aren’t you?) by working out at the Student Rec Center and taking part in hiking, skiing, or rock climbing clubs. You are doing your part to give of your time as a volunteer in the ASU and larger Phoenix communities. And you are broadening your experiences as a designer and planner by traveling the world to learn about ancient Rome and postmodern aesthetics.
